Alan Lay became Hamworthy United manager in the 18/19 season. Alan was previously the Assistant Manager who has stepped up into the role. Alan holds a UEFA B licence and is continuing his qualifications. This is Alans's Second season with the hammers, but the first full season in charge.

Brian holds a UEFA B licences, having previously been a 1st team coach at Shaftesbury, Verwood Town , Swanage Town and Herston and Dorset U/16s , Dorchester Town U/16s and AFC Bournemouth ID centre. Brian is an AFC Bournemouth fan and also a gym addict.

Ben is a Qualified Goalkeeping Coach having previously been with Swanage, Verwood, Bournemouth Poppies. Ben advocates that all players should...Practice with Purpose, Play with Passion.

James King

After leaving the club in the Summer, Cooper re-joined his local club in Sept ‘19 after leaving Bournemouth Poppies. Communicates very well and good positional awareness.


Shane Cooper

enowned as stalwart with local rival as Bournemouth Poppies, the midfielder signed for the Hammers in October ’19. Saadi has experienced playing at the highest level with AFCB


Fawzi Saadi

King re-signed for the Hammers in Sept ’19 from local rivals Christchurch. Great shot stopper has excellent distribution.


Ollie King

This creative attacking midfielder brings creativity to the team. Hodge has come through the youth teams at the County Ground.

Louie Coulson

With a resume that features Wimborne Town, Dorchester and Poole Town, Cann provides experience and strength to the Hammers front line.


Dan Cann

Currently plying his trade as a full back, Filkins is also more than adept in playing in a midfield position. Good on the ball and does have an eye for a goal.


Jamie Filkins

this tough tackling midfielder was signed from local rivals Bournemouth Poppies in August ’19.


Harry Cooper

A former Hammers youth player, defender Cocklin tasted Wessex League success with Andover Town and also represented Winchester City in The Southern League. Re-joined the club last season.


Connor Cocklin

Experienced Defender joined Hamworthy in August ’18. He has represented Bridport and Christchurch in recent seasons.


Chris Senior

A former pupil of the Manager, the full back was Tim Sills first signing at the club from local rivals Christchurch.


Tom Cooper

this skilful attacker had been on the books of Poole Town from an early age and arrived at the County Ground last season.


Olly Davis

yet to officially pull on a Hammers jersey after a serious pre-season injury, Hartnell-Baker has featured in Real Betis youth teams as well as non-league Whitstable.


Elliott Hartnell-Baker

Summer signing from Bashley. Rolls is a central defender that was previously with Dorchester as a youngster before he signed for the ‘Bash’

James Guthrie

younger brother of Declan Randell, this midfielder has played throughout the you teams at Hamworthy.


Brandon Randall

After the box to box midfielder left Wimborne Town last season, Francis made the short move across Dorset to join the Hammers this Summer.

Club captain Randell, an ever present from last season, provides cover across the entire back line.
