Hamworthy Utd 0 Poole Town 3

After 3 matches against DPL sides, the Hammers upped the anti somewhat to take on a Poole Town side 4 Steps higher just starting their pre-season. Overall I think it would be fair to say that although the score line shows a defeat, the team acquitted themselves very well and had enough chances themselves to get something from the game.

In the end, some more clinical finishing and a set piece led to the goals for Poole but a very good workout for the team who definitely didn't look as much out of depth as one might expect against our local rivals.

Next up is another home friendly where we welcome Badshot Lea to the County Ground and with the news last night about fans being allowed back in, (at the time of writing this has not been officially confirmed by the FA) we may well be able to welcome you all back.

As soon as more news is forthcoming on this, we will let you know, but pencil in 3pm ko on Saturday for now...you never know and keep checking the site and socials.
